This tiny new build house is situated on the site of a former derelict salmon bothy only metres from the sea in the fishing village of Johnshaven. Internally the bedroom is situated on a mezzanine, overlooking the double height living & dining area, with expansive views to the sea. The kitchen and ancillary spaces are tucked away at the back of the plan. The form and materials of the building reflect the local context with rough white render walls and a steeply pitched slate roof.
